Support The Right to Read Festival, All Books for All People
Florida has banned the most books of any state. To counter this undemocratic action, the Social Justice Alliance of the Florida Suncoast is planning a family friendly Right to Read, All Books for All People Festival on February 24, 2024, 10 am - 4 pm, with local and national writers speaking against book banning, books, entertainment and music. The Festival will be held at the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Venice (UUCOV), 1971 Pinebrook Rd., Venice, FL. We must support our public schools and libraries and raise awareness of how local government undermines our freedoms.
