Hamilton Township NJ First Amendment Defense Group

Our group is dedicated to defending libraries from book-banning efforts. Hamilton Township public schools are under attack. Age-appropriate books about LBGTQ and race topics are being challenged by extremist groups, whose members don't even attend our public schools. We are determined to fight this censorship and the efforts of this group to push their political agendas into our diversity community.

Freedom To Read Coalition of Columbia County (GA)

A grassroots organization formed to protect Columbia County (GA) residents' right to read freely at public institutions. We began meeting in September 2024 to organize against a new restrictive content-based collection development policy adopted by our local government. During the 2025 legislative session, we began lobbying in Atlanta against harmful legislation which would jail librarians, so we decided to formalize the organization in March 2025.

Katy ISD Families for First Amendment Freedoms

The majority of Americans, and the majority of Katy ISD families, support the freedom to read and learn without interference from the Board of Trustees or the government. Every family, in partnership with educators and librarians, has the right to determine what books are right for their family. That right, however, does not extend to restricting or banning books for anyone else's children. Join fellow Katy ISD families in the fight against censorship. Follow KISD Equity 4 All on Facebook for updates and advocacy opportunities related to the pursuit of equitable education for all students in Katy ISD.
