SCLA "Freedom to Read" Rally at the Courthouse

Join the SCLA on the courthouse lawn from 5:00 until the end of the Quorum Court meeting for a peaceful rally in protest of the Quorum Court's unconstitutional proposal to grant themselves and Judge Matt Brumley hiring/firing authority and greater budgetary control over the library.

We will have speakers, read some of the challenged childrens' books, play "Quorum Court Bingo," and provide time for library supporters to share their thoughts and be heard where our Quorum Court has failed to do so. If you've got them, wear your shirts and come ready to party!
