February 2024 School Board Meeting

While there appears to be nothing book or library-related on the agenda, the monthly school board meeting provides an opportunity to demonstrate your interest, concerns, and watchful eye to the district leaders and the school board. You can always sign up to give a public comment (you know that Mr. Book Banner will).

This month might be a good time to ask the superintendent and the board to change the library access "opt-in" policy for 7th-12th graders NOW. Ms. Hanson was talking about how much she disagrees with it at the community meeting a couple weeks ago; why should over 30% of our junior high and high school students have to wait until August to resume access to their own school libraries?
